An old intrastate rivalry
It’s the oldest rivalry in the conference and the 74th meeting between the Fresno State Bulldogs and San Jose State Spartans. Pat Hill takes on his old mentor Dick Tomey this week for a homecoming showdown. Dog Crew
Great analysis of San Jose State. I did not realize what a struggle they are having. Having said that I think it would be a mistake to under estimate them and just put a “win” in the win column. Because Dick Tomey and Pat HILL are such good friends I am positive San Jose will give us their best game. Kudos need to go to San Jose for their schedule as they already had to suffer at the hands of USC and Stanford!!
Having said that I will pick the Dogs to win 41-10—-I do not believe Pat Hill wants to run the score up on an old friend.
The trivia question answer about Pat Hill and Dick Tomey—Pat Hill was offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for Dick Tomey at the University of Arizona in 1990 and 1991.
