Bulldogs 2009 Season Preview
Welcome back Red Wave! It’s been a long time since Fresno State’s season-ending loss last December in the New Mexico Bowl, but eight months later it’s time to start anew. Logan and Jimmy are back for year two of the J-Lo era. In the second annual “Meet the Starters” podcast, the Red Wave boys will take a look at who’s starting where, which teams the Bulldogs are taking on and some early season predictions. Great first ‘cast of the year guys. I think you did a super job of explaining what the football dogs have BUT more importantly what they don’t have. I truly believe the season will depend on the dog defense and whether we can STOP the run, play great man coverage in the secondary AND sustain a NASTY pass rush. Offensively, we have a lot of great weapons– the QB situation needs to be settled early and if we are truly going to be explosive, Feathers needs to be EVERYWHERE but QB—what an awesome talent.
The schedule is rough but good teams can and must win on the road and the HOME schedule is a must win situation…..Good luck—GO DOGS!!!
